Shift Guide

This guide is intended for HRs.

This guide is to assist shift hosts with tasks needed to host a successful shift. Please be sure to read all of this guide before hosting your first shift.

Shift Times

Shifts can be hosted at 7 different times throughout the day (all times are in GMT):

  • 5 AM
  • 4 PM

  • There can only be one host for each shift.
  • Arguing over shifts is not allowed.
  • No shifts should be claimed 10 minutes after their designated start time.
  • Executive Assistant or higher may rank for shifts.
  • There can only be a maximum of 5 Assistant Team Leaders, Team Leaders, and Assistant Managers promoted at each shift.
  • All players that are promoted at a shift should be checked to see if they're on cooldown.

Step-By-Step Claiming

  1. On the GUI in the bottom left of the screen, click the settings icon.
  2. Once the Staff Panel has opened, click "Shifts" from the menu on the left.
  3. To claim a shift, click the "Start Shift" button within the Shifts menu.

Joining & Leaving during a Shift

  • Before claiming a shift, make sure you have a good internet connection and can remain at the store for at least 35 minutes.
  • Each shift lasts for 30 minutes. If you know you cannot stay for the entire shift, do not claim it.
  • If you lose connection or disconnect, the shift will be announced as concluded within the sesion channel. However, the shift can continue once you rejoin.
  • Do not reclaim the shift if you disconnect. Reclaiming will send another announcement and restart the shift timer.
  • If you reclaim a shift, there may be consequences for the disruption it can cause.
